CHOOSE ENERGY LIFESTYLE FITNESS VS. BOOTCAMP

Why is that we at Choose Energy choose to use the words lifestyle instead of boot camp. Much has to do with what ideas / thoughts boot camp brings to mind

Here is how we differ from the mainstream “boot camp” model:

1. BREAK YOU DOWN VS. BUILD YOU UP
The term boot camp, tends to draw the idea of some kind of military torment, where you are broken down into submission, and reform to some else way of thinking and through that you are stronger.
Our approach at CHOOSE Energy’s lifestyle based.
You are working to incorporate exercise and fitness into your life long term – as a complete piece. WE build you up; make you stronger, more comfortable in who you are, to be more present in your life, and thus stronger and complete.

2. NO PAIN NO GAIN VS. STRONG COMMUNICATION AND CONNECTION
Work out philosophy – Boot camp – no- pain no gain. If you are not feeling it you are not working hard enough
CHOOSE ENERGY Approach – stay connected and keep communicating: Our workouts are hard, and functional and will challenge anyone at any level – no doubt about that but instead of the idea of turning off the pain meter and just “giver” we encourage a strong connection into what is going on in your body and through that a strong communication with us the instructors to support you in the connection. If you are sore and its reasonable work with it, if you are tired and its making things less coordinated or increasing the chance of injury then drop it back a bit. If the activity is not where you are at and is to advance let us help you modify, if you’re injured we want to know and we will change things to make them safe and effective for you.,. Remember this is a lifetime of fitness not an hour of brutality

3. SURVIVAL OF THE FITEST VS. WIN-WIN FOR ALL ( inclusive all fitness levels welcome – programs for all)
Boot camp – the survival of the fittest, competitive, and individual competitive focus
CHOOSE ENERGY philosophy – everyone wins, the environment is group / team based with the first priority to be that each individual has a supportive situation to achieve their goals, and second that each person works in a team to create a group enthusiasm for success. Your success is my success, which in turn is our success

4. GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS VS. IN-TUNE WITH OUR CLIENTS
Boot camp – blast through no matter what the day may have brought you.
CHOOSE ENERGY Approach – Being in – tune: we are here to support you in all levels in your life – our instructors are trained to be in tune with you, once described “as a one hour therapy session with a punch”
This is a one hour workout in a sometimes incredible crazy day. Knowing our clients and being in tune with what’s going on with each person someday you need to hammer it out and someday its time for a lighter day. It all comes down to the bond and connection and knowing what is needed when. Also, getting to know our clients and caring we create and work instinctively on how each person needs / likes to be communicated too.

5. SAME OLD ROUTINE VS. GOAL BASED FUNCTIONAL FITNESS
Boot camp – tends to have a set routine of exercise or routines built for the masses
CHOOSE ENERGY Approach – Functional – we are goal based so we get to know the bigger picture of the goals our clients whether is be weight loss, strength , a cross training routine or the only exercise that person is doing our Choose Energy approach is to make workouts functional to what you want to achieve. Many of our programs are set up for specific things such as bone building, run or triathlon strength or slipper camps for those just getting into fitness.

6. 1 HOUR VS. LIFESTYLE / Complete picture
Boot camp –it’s a 1 hour workout, you do the rest
CHOOSE ENERGY approach – our CEO and trainers are complex bringing variable background from nutrition, life coaching, cooking, sport specific training, and yoga
As a result we provide a vast variety of resource to make your fitness routine become one part of an over healthy lifestyle with dietary, life coaching, goal setting , stress management, healthy supplements and a great team atmosphere you are surround with all the piece to be healthy and fit for life. We offer the complete picture. You make come to us in pieces but we are passionate about putting you back together and live whole

7. FUN Finally and most importantly Choose Energy is about fun, play and over fitness that inspires you to be active in all that you do, and through that inspiration push yourself to levels you never thought were possible.
